It does not touch the soil, oils, dust mites and odour that work their way down into the pile over months and years — which is why a carpet can look acceptable and still smell tired, or come up several shades lighter the first time it is properly cleaned.
We use hot water extraction: the carpet is pre-vacuumed, pre-sprayed to break down soil, agitated so the solution reaches the base of the pile, then flushed and extracted under pressure. The same process works on upholstery, so lounges, armchairs, dining chairs and mattresses can all be done in the same visit.

An honest word on stains
Most marks lift. Some do not. Dye-based stains, bleach damage, permanent marker, and old spills that have been repeatedly scrubbed can be permanently set into the fibre, and no amount of cleaning will return those. We will tell you upfront if we think something is unlikely to shift rather than promising a result we cannot deliver.

Carpet & Upholstery Clean — your questions answered
How long do carpets take to dry?
Typically four to eight hours, depending on the weather, airflow and how heavily soiled the carpet was. Opening windows and running fans or air conditioning speeds it up considerably. Plan the clean for a day you can leave the property ventilated.
Do you move furniture?
We will move light, easily shifted items such as dining chairs and small side tables. Beds, wardrobes, entertainment units and anything heavy or fragile should be moved beforehand if you want the carpet underneath cleaned. Let us know what is staying in place when you enquire.
Will the stains come back?
Occasionally a mark reappears a day or two later. This is called wicking — the stain has soaked into the backing and travels back up the fibre as the carpet dries. It is usually resolved with a second targeted treatment, so get in touch if you see it.
Do you clean carpets for an end of lease?
Yes, and most leases require it with a receipt for the agent. Book it together with your end of lease clean and we will sequence the two correctly — property clean first, carpets last.
Can you clean a lounge and mattress at the same visit?
